Jason Chaffetz Guilty

Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) is acting like a guilty man. Different realms of the net are going as far to say that he leaked information obtained by the Russians about Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election, and other parts of the internet are just accusing Mr. Chaffetz of not doing his job. Both are serious, but one has criminal tied to it.

Doing his job, the job the people of Utah elected him to do would include investigating if Russia had a role in the 2016 election. FBI director, James Comey, has confirmed that they have, but Jason Chaffetz doesn’t want to lead even a small investigation. Instead Jason Chaffetz is investigating a months-old tweet from his state’s Bryce Canyon National Park.

A tweet. Yes, a tweet from a state park is on the top of Jason Chaffetz’s to do list.

Chaffetz did recently launched a probe into Trump’s handling of classified intelligence information while on an open patio at his private Mar-a-Lago resort.

The chairman, however, chose not to probe former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn over what contacts he had with the Russian government before Trump took office, saying the situation has “taken care of itself” after Flynn resigned earlier this month.

So Chaffetz wants to investigate the tweet which wouldn’t even amount to a fine for the park, instead of putting forth any effort to see if the Russians might be playing an active role in our current White House administration.
