Documents show grainy photo of Hernandez with gun

A grainy photo of Aaron Hernandez holding what appears to be a gun, which prosecutors said is a capture from his home surveillance cameras only minutes after Odin Lloyd was shot, was among the documents released Thursday in the murder case against the former New England Patriots tight end.

Other than that, the release of affidavits for search warrants for Hernandez’s home and for arrest warrants for alleged accomplices Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace revealed no new information. A judge, petitioned by media organizations, had ordered the impounded documents released.

Prosecutors, in their presentation of the evidence during Hernandez’s arraignment on June 26, had emphasized the dramatic video footage, implying that Hernandez still had the gun in his hand after possibly shooting Lloyd in the early hours of June 17.

Lloyd was found shot five times in an industrial park a half mile from Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough, Mass.
