Antonio Tarver Fights Next Week, Wants Wladimir Klitschko Next

Antonio Tarver plans to beat Wladimir Klitschko and make history…

The 46-year-old faces Steve Cunningham next weekend at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and acknowledges he needs to beat the former cruiserweight king to set up fights with heavyweight champions Deontay Wilder and Wladimir Klitschko.

At 46 if and that is a big IF, Tarver could beat Klitschko that would make him the oldest heavyweight champion ever. That title currently belongs to grill master George Foreman who holds the record for the oldest world heavyweight champion, having dethroned Michael Moorer in 1994 at the age of 45.
